Hello all, first of all, not sure if this is the right section for this kind of a question...?
I was wondering what do you mac users use to browse photos, something simple and fast that has the ability of showing EXIF. I tried Xee and a few other apps but nothing comes close to the FastStone browser on the Win. platform? I don't want to import and build a database what some of the apps offer, I just want something simple and fast... ? Thank you for any imput.

I can't help you. I shoot RAW and my first stop is Apeture. I haven't upgraded to Leopard yet so the built in viewer won't read my 50D RAW files.

I shoot raw as well, with FastStone viewer it is just so fast RAW or JPG (any other format)... I shoot tree different cameras 1dmkIII, 5D classic and a 40D... it works like a charm... double click it opens full screen (or browser mode, as you wish), move your cursor to the right EXIF data slides out, move your cursor up BROWSER BELT slides out... at it opens under 2 sec (only windows)... :-(

Preview does this. If you highlight all the files and open them in Preview you can do a slide show and the Info option pulls up EXIF data.

I shoot RAW and use Bridge, to view, sort & copyright my photos.

I guess that would work, I was just looking for something that there is no need to do all that... just double click - it opens and scroll through the images... right-click or control-click info for the EXIF is fine...

Bridge is fine, but it is just to much for simple viewing and scrolling through the photos and I don't need want to organize/import and generate libraries... I was hoping there is something simple out there, Xee will need to do, I guess.

Try the ACDSee Pro beta for OS X. Seems to be pretty fast and shows all your exif etc...
And it can dig down into Aperture or iPhoto libraries.

Thank you. I will be trying them one by one tonight. I hope I find something that shows EXIF.... easily.
