Please note...my bathroom is being redone so excuse the nasty tiles. No matter what photoshop can do, it can't make my bathroom look better!
In terms of the lighting, is there a way I could have removed the flash marks from my daughters face without making her look like an alien? I think the flash in the bubbles works because it brings out the colors. Any suggestions with PS tricks would be most appreciated.

Ok.... I have no problem at all excusing the tile because I can't see the tile :D

is it because you are so focused on the subject, or that you really can't see the tile??

Cute picture.
You don't say which EOS camera you're using, but if you're using a built in flash such as on a Rebel, XT, 10D or 20D, it's gong to be a little tough. You'd probably do better with a separate flash with a diffuser on it, and possible bounced off the ceiling.

Built in flash. I have the Canon Speedlight 220EX ...but the batteries were dead!!! Hate that.

I fixed the link to the photo, so I eliminated our discussion regarding your blog and the link. Everything seems to be working okay now.
Once again.....cute picture.

Was the problem before that the photo wasn't there?

Very cute photo of your daughter... here's my try at removing some of the "shiny-ness" from her face. Tell me what you think... in photoshop, I used the clone stamp tool to kind of blend it in. Not too sure if this is the best method of doing this, but I figure if it gets the job done, then it's one of the ways to go. Thanks for sharing such a great shot!!!

Cool thanks for the tip. It really softens the picture a lot. Thanks again.

Me thinks that some of the softening might have to do with the quality level in which I had to re-save the photo at so as not to exceed the size limits set by forum.
