Hi all,
I have a 17-40L from yesterday, and i was testing it for back/front focus issues.

All comments much appreciated, did only autolevel and resized 50%

That's not a good chart to use. Use the chart with a flat, high-contrast object sitting on the chart, perpendicular to the lens. Make sure there is plenty of light.
What camera do you have? The results look acceptable for a non-professional camera.

Its a 20D
Can u give an example about the test u mean? Dont know the word "perpendicular"...(i'm not english)

Look at this test.

See how the target is standing up? That's what you need to do. You can use your chart but put it under the target.
