First firework photo's

Last night we had a large firework in town.
As I have not mono or tripod I took a floorcleaner stick to use as a pod.
Attached you find two photos. Please let me know what you think ?

You got these picture in the back of a tree? Looks rough.

I, like khtwo, am puzzeled by the large blacked out areas in the middle of the fireworks. Is that a tree or something? Technically the work is pretty well handled however it is almost too busy with bursts. Maybe a shorter shutter speed to include less in a shot. Other than that, they turned out really well, captured the colors nicely and got good trails.

You are right. Its is a tree.
Took a lot of photos of fireworks exploding in the clear sky, but they look like all the others made.
I liked the shadow effect of the tree.
