Well one of our posters over in the G&N forum "trentchau" has recently posted some natural light nudes of some models that to me would be once in a life time beauties. Of course that is very much in the artistry of his work.

He inspired me. I have been shooting some portraits and working with lights.
But despite a real desire to try it I had not ever shot nudes.

Well that is about to change in a big way. I found a wonderful location in a incredible room with a wall sized glass door that opens out onto a private balcony over looking the ocean.

I have three models coming for 3 hour shoots each beautiful in thier own way. Each will need a different approach.

1. One is very curvy with magnificant full just slightly heavy breasts and a hour glass figure.

2. Another has small almost boyish breasts but a delightful pixies face and a supple snake like torso.

3. The third is Gods gift to the world in terms of body scapes, the curve of her back ending at her heart shaped rear end is for lack of a better word perfect.

All are honest to God head turners!!

I have done everything I can to make the models comfortable. I had detailed conversations about expectations, personal preferences and needs of the models. None will feel ambushed by the expectation of nudity. None have limits I can not gladly respect. I have a nice snack tray and fruit drinks as well as mineral water.

Soft robes for them to lounge in while I change set ups. I have model releases and will sit and read them on video as well as sign them.

We talked at length about the concepts of the shoots and what they will need to bring to the event.

None of them want money as they are in it for the Art. But I will offer each a small stipend as a gift. I will treat them with the greatest dignity and respect.

Now having said all of that is it wrong to be as excited as I am? I just can't stop grinning. I love my cameras and the art of photography, in fact I have come to live for it. But the subject matter to me is the ultimate end game of photography, as there is simply nothing as beautiful as a healthy fit young women.

Go ahead flame me.. I don't care.

Damn Guys I am just really really happy about this. I feel like I wont be the same after it is done. My expectations are really high as I have put a ton of work into this already.

I will probably never do this again. The cost for the room and amenities is prohibative.

The best possible outcome will be three new friends and some great pictures!

If they're doing it for the art... make sure that the offer of money is not offensive to them. A gift of a frame photo might be more appropriate.

Why do you expect to get flamed? :) Sounds like a great opportunity. I hope you have a great set of shoots.

Well per usual with with Model Mayhem I guess, I had 2 out of three no shows.

The gals that did not show up really lost out. The one model that came on time and ready to go was a delight!! Beautiful, bold, confident, just plain inspireing!!!!!

The shoot did not FEEL at all like I expected it too. I tell you, guys that expect shooting nudes of models to be perv time are dead wrong. You don't even get to take a second to enjoy the eye candy. My model never stopped moving for two solid hours. She would instantly adapt to what ever I asked for, had plenty of ideas on her own.

She was happy to be there, quick to laugh and gentle to guide the newbie. I lucked out for more than I am entitled to getting this lady for my first nude model.

We saw a great light in the Hotel hallway. It was after check out and before check in. There for the hallways were empty except for the Maid who got a hell of a show. When I suggested it I never expected her to aggree. She did not bat a eye but went right out into the hallway, dropped her robe and made love to the entire damn hotel. I am suprised the freaking sprinklers did not go off.

She went right out on my hotel balcony and moved like the pharohs personal dancing girl. There were thousands of of people on the beach 7 stories below that never looked up. FOOLS!

I took 24 gigs of pictures in 2 hours and while not all are perfect there is not one shot I don't wont to keep.

I am so inspired. I woke up this morning and thought for a second it had been a dream. It was that sureal.

Jump in and try this guys.... don't be afraid if you have not done it, just be honest and open with the model and Talk to her about what you want and let her help you make the dream come true.

Wow! Combine them all and let's see the video! :)

Glad you had a great experience, but just remember you have to sort through those images. With more experience, you'll understand why in 2 hours I don't go over 4 GB. That is still a TON of images to go through.

Remember you need to store them someplace. Hey, I've got a HD to sell... or was that a bridge! ;)

Tony...

why's that?

I decided the images were not ready. The model deserves a better effort from me before they are displayed in public.

And the images should be posted in the G&N Share forum, not the discussion forum - and linked to there in this thread. That keeps the delineation between the forums cleaner.

They were just face shots and it was a link.
