It looks like they don't really say much about anything. I'd like to see a camera of the year based on feature set vs. price, etc etc.

They do in the article, I just didn't post all the commentary. They explain why they chose what they did; features; price, etc.

Feh. I thought it was going to be about photographers, or photographs. Gear is gear: "Shovel of the year." Big whoop.

I think they do those kinds of acknowledgements for photos and photographers, but this issue was about gear. I thought people might like to know where Canon stands as well as what they recommend for printers and software.

How many cameras of the year do you get to give out? In my mind, only one. Guess they think you can have more than one.

Yeah, that was odd. I think that some were PAST "Cameras of the Year", but it was not really clear in the article. The whole thing was laid out in an odd way.
