My first Dance Recital event. Local theater, funny unexpected low lights. What do y'all think? Basically shot with 1dm2 70-200 2.8.
For some reason #6 is looks noisier on this forum than my computer...
I know that I'd need to crop tighter on some of them as well.
I've only edited some sharpening / temperature / exposure on Aperture ... Thanks!

My only comment/criticism is with the third photo. I like the concept but I think it would have worked better if she was facing the camera instead. The disembodied hands and arms from the second person holding or lifting her makes it look even odder.

#2 is good, #5 is nice. Having people parts sticking into the edges isn't good ... if they aren't editorial in nature I would suggest cloning to make a more appealing image.

I've shot three large dance recitals over the last three years (yes, I have a daughter at the gallery) ... I use two bodies swapping numerous lenses plus a remote camera. No matter what you do there's always something else you could have done! :-)
