Image looks a little blurry but I like it.

Could be sharper on the cat face. I love cats too.

I had IS on and it was on manual focus. Is sharpness something that can be controlled with the shot or is it something that has to be done in PP?

This is probably oversharpened, because my pp skills are almost non-existent, but still...

Ah I see. Mine looks much softer. I can't ever seem to find the sharpen command in Photoshop CS4. I've been sticking with Lightness, exposure, brightness and contrast for the most part for now.

Look under filters, you will find it there
