Just some random, spur of the moment shots from today.

Isn't it always the case that when there's a rainbow, you're in a spot where there's nothing interesting in the foreground? Nevertheless, this is a good capture of the rainbow. They can be frustrating.

The second one is out of focus or has movement blur. It could use more depth of field, which, of course, would exacerbate the movement blur.

The third one is an uninteresting composition with a busy background.

The petunia shot would be better without the building in the background.

I wouldn't want to be a mouse in the last one. The cat looks to be in stalker mode. That or it sees it's reflection in the front element of your lens and is fixin' for a fight.

I love the leaf shots! I think they are both special. Maybe what Joe means on the first one is that the DOF doesnt include the biggest waterdrop ... which maybe gives it an out of focus effect. But I love both! Nicely done!

Looks like you were playing around with some expensive camera equipment in and near your home and it rained out.

I do like the second photo of the leaf in hand. Nice job using the bokeh as a framing tool. The leaf is in the center of a diamond shaped frame to my eye.

I definitely like the warmer version better. I struggle when adjusting WB, because I do it in the moment, and at the time it looked "right" but looking back at it even before I saw the warmer version it just looked...off. In the moment it looked right, but that's why I should wait a day to adjust WB in PP. Looking back on it, I probably should have rounded the vignetting a bit more too to avoid that diamond shape that has been mentioned.

Except #2/3, pretty much just snapshots IMO.

You have a good idea with the leaf, but need to watch the BG on #3, and #2 is out of focus. Good DOF on #3 - try a more pleasing BG - you don't want it to take attention away from the subject.

I like the second one. I don't see motion blur. I see bokeh ... and it looks good, IMO.

Thanks everybody for the responses, I appreciate them all! Anyway, here is round two...or just a few more from today...it was very similar weather today so I figured I'd snap some more today.

I think you are getting a bit over exuberant with the vignetting. :)

For me rainbows are a natural phenomenon so the houses and cars in the foreground are too distracting. Plus it looks like the image is not level.
