Somehow I managed to change the printer driver settings to printer color management from no printer color management. Color management by the printer results in very off color prints. I'm using Photoshop CS.

I can change the settings to no color management but when I make another print, the color managed setings are back. I'm wondering how to set the thng to no color management by default which was the state of the software when first installed.

To make setttings "stick" you must make them through Control Panel> Printers/Faxes.

Ah, ha! I will try that. I don't know how I got myself into this fix but ever since it happened, I ruin more than a few prints before I realize I forgot to turn off printer color management again. Thanks for the tip.
