last sunday i spent half a day at Mt Cotton for the Qld state hillcimb championchips, i was intending to stay the whole day but my glasses broke and poked me in the eye every time i put the camera to my face.

here are a few pics from my somewhat malfunctioning camera\eye combination lol.

This stood out, the angle of the sun was just right

it was a very cold morning and with the cars starting to heat up the condensation was starting to run off around the top of the first loop

Good work Dave. I also like #1. What's the spectator/photographer access like at Mt Cotton? I must plan a visit there sometime.

I think the second one could use a little more blurr in the wheels, same with the background.

thanks for the comments,

you can pretty much shoot everything except the run down the little straight after the second loop from the spectator areas,
the best place to go is around the back,m through the car park follow a bush trail up the hill past the 2nd loop and around to "lovers leap" which often sees tyre lockups, tyres off the ground, sometimes people go wide into the earthbank aswell, so theres plenty of action
