Hi.. I am still undecided on the tripod and need help.

Today I went a shop in Toronto and saw Gitzo 1126 and be told it is too small for 20D + 100Macro combo... what do you think?? should I go with 2 series? or 1 series is good enough??

I prefer 1 series because it is smaller and lighter.

Thanks

I think 1 is more for something like a point and shoot... or leica... or something small...

For macro you'd want a geared column and sturdy legs. I suggest 2220

If you're asking about strictly load capacity of the 1126, it'll more than comfortably hold a 20D with a Canon 100/2.8.

Thanks guys.

ya I see Thomas' point.. number-wise it is enough.. but I am not sure how much I can depend on these numbers.
