I went to Bonnaroo last weekend as media and was able to bring my DSLR with a rented 70-200mm f/2.8 IS lens and, for good measure, my own Sigma 30mm f/1.4 lens. Here's a few shots from the festival:

This was my first time shooting a really big festival. I've shot Rites of Spring in the past, but that's just a little one stage thing. Carrying that big lens on your back for 4 hot days is hell on your shoulders, but I think it was worth it in the end. Plus, people are more likely to get out of your way in a crowd when they see that monstrosity coming at you.
