I like the motion in the shot & the sharp rear end, but the light at that time of day doesn't give you the nice defining highlights in the body.

I agree, lost detail in the body. Though you nailed the blur, definitely looks like it's going fast!

yep ur right, the light is very harsh, it was shot at 3pm when the sun is still quite strong...

photos guy, where exactly does detail get lost?..sometimes i have a hard time seeing...?

Another advantage of "late light" is that it's easier to get a low shutter speed for motion shots.
