Hi All,

This is my first time posting a question or starting a thread. Would like some advice. I'm a beginner photographer but would like to start doing candid wedding shots for friends and family.

Can you recommend me a couple lenses that would help capture the moment. I would like to get the photos that nobody else gets when they are at a wedding.

Thank you all for your input. If you can also give me any tips I would greatly appreciate it.

J

tell everyone what current lenses you have as well as cameras and flash. that way people can respond to what you need. oh and what type of budget youd like to stick to. some lens combinations cost more than my car!

Wedding FAQ (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=255604). 17-55 F2.8 IS.

I agree with Tim, the 17-55 f/2.8 is the best for crop. If the budget allows get a 70-200 f/2.8.
