Stepping Stone Falls

Here is a pic I just took of the local dam, which half of it is a huge concrete set of waterfalls. Normally the lights underwater are on, making the water falling turn different colors, but they dont have the lights on for the season yet, so I had to settle with this.


I will post a pic once they turn the lights on. It kicks butt with the water cycling through different colors.


Taken with my 20D, with the kit lens. I wanted to use one of my better lenses, but the kit lens is the only one I own that I could manage to fit the entire waterfall in the frame.

Replaced it with a better one....

Yeah, there is a little ledge to stand on, and that was the only place I could get the tripod to sit halfway even, and still get the entire dam in the photo.

The light looks looks pretty good on this one, and I like the way you "Drug" the shutter for the waterfall effect. :D

Wonderful. Looks like a painting. It might be my monitor, but it's a tad dark for my liking. Great capture though.

Absolutely wonderful. That is a cool looking dam anyway, and with the silky water you dialed in, it is even better.
