A little Rust

Was out today on a friends boat and i so happen to have my 10D with me , as we where passing this dock i saw this old rust bucket of a boat and i had to take a picture of it, using a 24-70mm f2.8 lens and a couple of waves as we went by.

Nice shot. I hope you don't mind, but I thought I would see how it looks in BW. It doesn't show the rust as much, but I kinda like it also.

I just wanted to show you another option. If you want, I can delete my pic. Some people may not like others manipulating their posts. The problem I have is. . . if you post in B/W, someone will always want the color version. Or, if you post in color. . . yep, someone will suggest trying B/W.

In this case, I just thought I would try the conversion myself, instead of putting you to the trouble of doing something with your picture that I wanted done. . . . . . :lol: :lol:.

It's kinda like one of those rotten wooden hull boats. If you leave it in the water it's fine, the second you take it out it falls apart.
