Say, why is it when I try to install an avatar it says that the photo is to large[over 8.1k] when i have resized it to less than 5k?:confused:

The size of the picture should be
Width 65 pixel (72 res/inch)
Height 75 (72 res/inch)
Then it should work. If not maybe a Mod can help you further.

The avator can't be larger than 80 pixel on it's longest side. I'm not sure how you are saving but I would recommend "Save for Web". If you are doing a "Save as" it holds any exif information in the file. Save for web blows this away and makes your files much smaller.

If you can't get it small enough, try making it into a gif in ImageReady or something of the like.
