This is a pretty specific question about me, but I really want to know what the working pros think. What are my photos worth?

I'm 17 right now and I take photos for my school newspaper. I love taking photos, and that's pretty much all I think of. What "level" would you define me as? Could I start up a small business for sports photography? How much could I sell my photos for? Would I qualify for a summer internship at a relatively small newspaper as a PJ? All CC about my photos or my site are welcome.

My website is here (http://ywphotography.net) - http://ywphotography.net

Thanks in advance,

Yuto

As far as an intern spot as a PJ I can't offer an answer to that. I have to say though, I like your website and for being 17, you have a talent and seem pretty good at your art. Good luck!

You work is creative. It's worth whatever you can get for it in the market you serve.

I agree with Brice... your photos are worth whatever you can get somebody to pay for them.

I think from the style of shooting you do you'd make an excellent commercial/advertising photographer.

That's where the cash is, I think, the way some commercial photogs get paid ($800-2000 a day).
