PS CS exporting cache

Is there any way in PS CS1 to export the cache to XMP files in the directory of the RAW? I'd like to choose a folder and have it do it to all the subfolders - I have many, many subfolders. Alternately is there a way to copy the settings in the CS1 RAW database over to the CS2 RAW database?

I guess this is a lesson to use XMP files instead of the CS internal cache.
