Hummingbird cam in Ecuador

Anyone who's interested in hummingbirds just has to see this. I've been looking at it for the last hour - can't believe how many birds there are!!

I find it absolutely compelling, Mitch. Quite frenetic. I've just been watching it for the last 15 minutes and almost feel like I need a lie down!!!

All the birds must have gone to sleep, the bats are using it now. :)

Thanks for the link Sheryl....pretty amazing to watch. What few hummers that are here sure don't share or play that nice together.

Oh yes, Mitch, I've just looked at this cam and seen the bats. It's two in the morning here at the moment, but I can't sleep because it's hot and muggy, thunder storms dancing around in the background and my dog's barking the house down! A few bats in Brazil are just the thing to calm my frazzled nerves!

Vlad was a sweet bird. I learned a lot when he was here, and I am still amazed at how gentle and intelligent he was. Not at all like a rodent in any way. :)
