hiya, first post here. Tried my hand at motocross over the weekend and managed to get a few shots, any tips for improvements would be welcomed though :) Using a Canon 20D and Canon 28-105mm F3.5

A good start, espeically like #7.
Some photos seem a bit dark to me, you could try and play with the levels in PS.

Otherwise a god start.

Theres some great pics here. You must have been close on the first two..I almost want to jump out of the way (if only to stop from being covered in mud :-) ). Number 7 is superb.

Really nice! I hope you don't mind if I add some pictures from my first attempt yesterday, from a Motocross practice track. I wanted to add them here as they are so different in approach and feel. I like your close pictures with longer shutter times, I shot mine with a tele and short times which I think froze the action too much. You inspired me to bring another lens and get tighter in on the action next time!

I think maybe you could try slightly shorter shutter times (up the ISO if you have to), and I should try longer times.
