I like the shot too but the noise is distracting.

After years of film grain, I'm still used to it. Maybe add more with this?

I can appreciate the grain, but if it the photo had less saturation or was all out B&W, the grain would seem more natural.
Did you take any similar close-up shots where the hood was more parallel to the ground? Do you have anymore where your framing/cropping was not as tight?
Whenever I take a photo of anything, I battle with myself over what is more important: my perspective (opinion) or others' perspective. As long as basic rules are not broken, the eye of the beholder is what matters most (or if for pay, the buyer's!).
I've had a friend criticize a shot of mine where he went off saying "your monitor is out of calibration, geez." I put a green cast over my image. The car was dark green, and it was parked in front of an old-time general store that had dark green trim. The car's owner loved it. And so did I. ;) It just sucked that my friend (a very good photographer) dismissed it as junk because he thought my monitor was way off. He's the master of PS effects, so his failure to recognize my intentional effect surprised me.

Thanks all for the comments! I like the image as it is. The noise isn't that bad, so I really can't see how it is distracting, and my intent was just to focus on the hemi logo, "Whats under the hood". The shot was supposed to be a bit abstract.

Could make due with a bit less noise.
