Thoughts?? Photobucket make the images a little softer, and I know, the last one has my big ole arse in the bumper, but hey, I don't have any photoshop programs. These are out of the camera with a little sharpening and exposure control using the Canon software.

These are good "Day Show" shots, but my first thought is "10mm & he still can't get all of a car in the frame?" ;) I don't have any photoshop programs. There are several l free ones, even from Canon. DPP, GIMP... Photobucket make the images a little softer, It's good if you set it up right, & it could be that PhotoBucket has resized?
Before uploading your images to your Photobucket account, choose either a
display or file size that is equal to or larger than that of your images. You
can do this by clicking on the 'Uploading Options' link in your upload panel
and then on the radio button next to your preferred size. If an option is
greyed out, this means the option is not available for your Photobucket
account type. Selecting a size larger than your images will prevent further
resizing upon upload and help expedite the upload process. To make the changes
permanent, you must upload at least one image from the upload panel. This is
important for Pro users using FTP or anyone using the Windows XP Publisher. If
you choose to use the file size options, the file size of the original image
will take precedence over the the display size and any display size is
accepted as long as the file size is less than your choice in the 'Uploading
Options'.
I always click on the image to get the 100% size that I've uploaded, & then use that URL for display.

I, too, would have enjoyed full shots of the car.

watch out for reflections... like on the chrome truck bumper.

Yea, this was my first time out with the 10-22. I got carried away using it a little too much. My 13 yo was bugging me to go, so I didn't have time to think clearly. After I got home I realized almost all my shots were "up close in your face" types.

I, too, would have enjoyed full shots of the car.

Here's a couple more of the '49 Chevy. As mentioned above, got carried away playing around with the new lens and didn't even give it a second thought about full shots.

Just over the left headlight you can see the Thunderbolt Fairlane. I'm really kicking my butt for not getting better photos of that one.

EDIT:
Sorry, but in the "Share" areas IMAGE POSTING

RULES (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=74718) only allow 2 attachments by the OP per thread, OR 8 embedded (linked) images, OR a combination of both totaling 8. (Maximum 1024 pixels on any side.) You can always just post a link to more, though, or better yet, post a link to a gallery so we don't have to click on each image link.
Some exceptions are "Show Me...", "Post your best...", equipment reviews, Tutorials, etc.

Look nice except why crop out the front bumper corners?
