Looks like someone gave their 10-22mm a workout. :-)
Very nice photos. I'm sure the B&G are thrilled with them.

Thanks everyone!! I hope they are pleased, I try to but a lot into each day I shoot!!
RE: them being pleased, I just shot these yesterday and actually shot them for a larger studio, so I won't even know their reactions (that is the only bummer about the "showing up, shooting, and leaving" jobs)

HAHA, the 10-22mm made me think a LOT about the XT or another 20D, I am CONSTANTLY changing lenses, to get the WA shot!!

Some terrific shots there. My personal favourite is No 8, the final B&W shot. Even though I don't know any of them, I reckon that would look nice on my wall.

Just wondering which lenses you used on all of these.
Thanks

wow these are beautiful. love the dof on number 1 wow, is it short. #3 is great, i love the vantage point and the leading line there. #6 the horizontal line is distarcting for some reason as it is slanted. im assuming it was a hill, but id rather see it straightened, slightly as it appears too busy for some reason. With that, #7 and 8 I love the crookedness and the overall quality. These really are fantastic. great job.

Maybe it's time to cruise something like the Fred Miranda Buy/Sell forums to see if you can pick up a good used 20D at a reasonable cost. I've seen deals that would tempt me if I were in the market.
Keep doing the work that you've done here and it will pay for itself in short order.
..easy for me to say, huh? :-)

Amazing photos! I'm doing a wedding soon also (in a few months) and I'm new to big event photos. Which lens' did you use and was flash used for compensation in any of the photos? How did you also get up high and shoot low to get those cool effects in a few photos?

These look very Profesional. You have done well IMHO, and included some key shots such as the rings in the first shot.
I'm sure they will be happy. ;)

The Last one is great, would be good for using your logo to the left of them.

OK opinions from an amateur trying to learn to critique (and see what I am missing through evaluating others work) - so in other words feel free to critique my critique LOL
Love the first one
in the 2nd http://www.ericcotter.com/potn/pv_wed/IMG_0023.jpg I like it but think it would look better with the tip of the left shoe to complete it.
3rd is interesting as a view of the venue - but not sure if "I" would want it an album - but well focused and an interesting capture
http://www.ericcotter.com/potn/pv_wed/IMG_0249.jpg - love this one
I like most of them - last one catches my eye as a gem
Over all IMHO you shoot great "non-traditional photos" but I would like to see some examples of traditional ones as well ( more centered - wedding party and family group ones) you caught some great moments - but as a customer I would want to see both traditional and non tradional ones.
That it from the newbie,
Cheers and thanks I enjoyed looking at your work,
Rick

Thank you for your time and thoughts
Your statement RE: the traditional shots is correct, but
1.) they're boring for people who don't know the subjects, therefore I try not to post shots that make the content of the family the focus (also out of respect for customers, i know the bride and groom but not extended family etc)
2.) They are good for curent customers, but they dont sell future gigs.
also... ;) Look at the following $10-30k, not too many of them brag about their traditional shots

I understand that - but good to bring out - I was just trying to point out that however boring both sides should be considered
