Fantastic job, especially for a first! You make my first e-session look like a monkey shot it, haha. I love 1 and 3 the most. 4 would have been my fav if her shoe wasn't clipped.
5.... haha, how do I put this? my eye goes right to her skirt... and I'm a straight woman! I could only imagine what the men r thinking, lol

Yep agreed, had you not said this was your first, I wouldn't have known. Great work, great composition, and great captures and getting the couple to look and be comfortable. Shooting engagements, I find that to be the defining point, no matter what they are doing, as long as they look natural and comfortable and the smiles and expressions come naturally. You've got that going here, great job!

Are these clients a couple of models? This is a very handsome couple who look very comfortable in front of the camera. How much coaching did you give them with posing? Exposure and composition are exquisite. You set a very high bar.

they are not models, but i think they probably should be. i had all of the poses in mind. i told them once we started shooting and i gave them a pose to try and run with it and come up with some of their own. they didn't really do that so i went with ones i had in mind. as the day went on, they just got more comfortable with me and they did a fantastic job. it's going to be hard to try and top this shoot. i may have set the bar too high!!!

no, it was done in pp.
Mind sharing how you did that? :)

just drew a circle mask around the couple, feathered it, inverted it and applied a radial blur. that's it. wish i could have done it in camera, but the couple would have had a blur on them as well and i wanted them to be tack sharp.

they were just wrapped around his waist and she kept them hidden very well.

I absolutely love #6. It gives me the feeling that the whole world is rushing on around them but they only have eyes for each other and nothing else matters. Wonderful!
