Hi everyone,

These are two shots of my 3 month old baby son, taken this afternoon.

He might look like an angelic little tyke but believe me the grin is entirely deceptive!
He's been refusing to bottle feed the last few weeks which means Mummy no longer has a social life

Ah well, we'll be weaning him soon. There may be hope yet! :D

Edit: Forgot to mention no artificial lighting used - the first shot has been brightened in PS

Both are good, but the second is wonderful. Cute kid.

Thanks guys, your comments are very much appreciated :D

I know faux fur shots can be a bit cheesy but I didn't really experiment that much when my daughter was this young, and I kind of feel like I missed out on having some wall shots of her at that age.

Does anyone have suggestions of alternative baby-compatible backgrounds? I try to avoid taking radiator-in-the-background type shots by doing this kind of thing but I'm fast running out of options!

You'll see what I mean when you see the following one I took of my little girl today

I've also tried experimenting a bit with PS designed backgrounds (see next pic), but I'm undecided on whether it just looks too falsified. All comments and suggestions appreciated!

I haven't had a chance to try it myself but I was considering getting some shots of my little guys in their 'play area' or nursery. I like the idea of having some of their toys/bears/momentos in the shot. But I would imagine you would have to take care not to make these items a distraction in you final photograph.

BTW, I absolutely love your signature!! It shows how important your kids really are.
