A few from a recent work-trip to NYC... Lighting during the day was absolutely horrible... hazy, and overcast... No fluffy white clouds and blue sky... Fortunately, I'm going back there next week, this time for vacation :D

Nice shots, love the Yankees images, but sorry... the weather next week isn't supposed to be any better than it has been.

Hey Nick, these are real nice... especially for an out of towner... That homer shot is one lucky moment to save and frame... all are keepers for framing... Don't forget the upper east side next time, central park is pretty cool too.

Thanks alot everyone! I'm going back to NYC Monday and hope to get some more shots of the City I love so much!
The 23rd St shot was a bit of rush as I was literally right about in the street with cars and buses whizzing by along 5th Ave and Broadway... Literally I had cars less that 3' from me... Thankfully I got my shot and got outta there!

Taxi shot would be so much better if the cab was in focus....
And they should forbid photographs of the Brooklyn bridge :D

So you're going to NYC again... Don't forget to visit some of the ethnic deli's around 2nd avenue and 10th street... There are some great Polish and other European Deli's there too...

Flatiron building capture is amazing. I'm going to NYC next Wednesday, August 5th. I'm hoping to get some good shots.

Another vote for the Flatiron shot - it's tough to make it look new or different. You did.
Nice.

Thanks! Its such a unique building, I took a few hundred different shots both at night and during the day from different angles, and shutter speeds and that was one of my first of the set and coincidentally my fav :-)

The second and the third get thumbs up from me.
The smooth saturated colors of overcast light really come out in the third.
The graphic shape of the light trails in the second is great.
