Concert Photo Pass

I'm going to Seattle next month with a band who will be playing on the main stage at the Capitol Hill Block Party. Their management will be arranging for a photo pass but I assume that it will only apply to the band I'm with. Obviously, I'd like to shoot some of the other bands including the headliner, Sonic Youth. What is the best way to approach this, contact the organizers or contact each band individually?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I'd shoot emails to each bands management. I took a photo course recently and one guy would generally email the headliners management. This would give him the pass he needed and he would get to shoot all the bands. I'd contact each one personally so there are no issues though.
