I like the texture in this shot, without being too gruesome..
But maybe there is not enough of a focal point to be interesting.

Here are two crops...

I'm curious as to what you might think...
thanks in advance

The content and message is not so clear. Perhaps a brief background will help demystify the context?

Well I am not so sure there is a message. I was in a wildlife refuge today and there was a skeleton of a predator which I think is a bobcat ( looking at the canines)
I took it as was, and didn't change anything and in the full sized photo it is full of texture,
branches, the blue stone etc

As I said.. it may have overall not enough color to do anything

I am not wedded to it.. just curious I guess

thanks for looking

Too busy for my tastes.

I think you are right about the lack of a focal point. One looks around for something to grab onto -- there is really only the skull, which is not enough to hold much interest.

I think this would look better if you had gotten lower to the ground and shot across rather than standing over the skeleton and shooting straight down.

There's too much going on to find a good focal point of interest.

Yep, as I look at it again, I think you're all right.

Thanks for looking and commenting... it is a big help

I prefer the texture in the first shot. Overall I think it is too random to hold interest. But is was a decent idea, worth trying.
