Last night my friend hand made me the BEST birthday cake ever. An exact replica of my first camera.

(I know its not a Canon but in 1985 when I was 10 getting 1965 Nikomat was the best present ever!)

Best cake ever, what a sweet gift. My girlfriend just got me an old TLR for my birthday this month - aren't camera gifts the best.

The cake she made my daughter for her birthday party was also fantastic...and usually anyone who comes and goes from your house without knocking is considered a good friend :lol:

How did you bring yourself to cut it!

I didn't. I made her cut it, I just couldn't put a knife to it. I wanted to figure out how to preserve it and put it on my shelf over my desk!

Wow - What a great cake.
Such a shame to even cut it, yet alone eat it.

Once it was cut eating it was the easy part, it was an incredibly yummy pound cake. I still have some of it, I wish I could have figured out how to save the lens.

Neat idea and nice copy. Such a good copy, you should be glad you ate the evidince before Nikon called copyright infringment :D
