Well no Launch or Gantry shots,so this was just sad.

At least you got to see the shuttle on the pad. When I was there for a launch it was rolled back into the VAB. I caught a small climpse of a booster and shots of an empty pad.
I am sad to say I will miss out on seeing a launch now :(

Too bad you missed out on seeing a launch. When I was a kid, my dad took me down to see both Apollo 11 and Apollo 13 launches. We slept on Cocoa Beach for the Apollo 11 launch, and were able to get into the grounds to see the Apollo 13 launch. Great experiences and I would love to get down to see a shuttle launch before they are all finished.
