The detail is amazing and some nice shots to boot. What camera and lens did you use.

Very moody, I like them.. The first picture reminds me of an aged Antonio Banderas ...

I LOVE those photos. It's like his face is holding years and years of wisdom and stories. Great shots.

Well, I'm not a portraitist but for studio lighting I'd like to see a bit more detail in the shadows ... I don't think this would detract from the moodiness but with a face with that much character it would be nice to see more of it.

Thanks! Camera was a Rebel XT. #'s 1 and 5 are from my Tamron 28-75mm 2.8. The rest are Canon 85mm 1.8.

Very strong images, subject reminds me of Harvey Keitel's character "Sport," in the movie Taxi Driver with Robert Deniro.

is he a model, or some guy you found? great shots. you could also try purposely adding some noise/grittiness to some of those pics. the setting/mood looks like it would be greatly enhanced.

Very powerful images. Very good work. Nothing to critique in my opinion.

Actually, he's a part time actor who lives near one of our classmates.
Thanks for the suggestions.
