When Joseph Glidden began mass producing barb wire in 1874, The days of cowboys herding packs of free range windmills were numbered.

This is a re-processing of an older photo of mine, after I finally discovered the "shadow" and "highlight" sliders in DPP. Darkening the shadows really brought out the color of the field properly. Looking for some more input on if i should do more post processing or not.

Did you replace the sky on this one? Also the grass seems a bit dark to me.

Nope, thats the real sky there. If I take shadows out of the grass it turns all grey, adjusting exposure blows out the clouds and makes the grass look bad again.

Grass needs some saturation (imho) - you can select the image part with grass with lasso etc. and add saturation (hue/saturation)
... or just add saturation on green colour (hue/saturation) - no need to select that part of image with grass
and then, if still needed, you can lighten grass a bit

But if it's kind of 'old slides' style, it looks pretty ok to me. I like the old slides colour look.
