The contrasting colors are great in the shot. Looks almost like sepia in the background, and color for the bird. Nice shot!

Just by the expression on it's face, I think it saw your L glass and couldn't resist posing.

WOW, it's special allright!
Love the shot, I just took some RWB shots over the weekend, haven't gotten around to processing them. I'm crazy about these birds; I'm not a big birder, but from all the bird species I;ve seen red winged blackbirds probably have the most interesting behaviour.
