So I had to cancel an e-session this past weekend due to the ridiculous heat/humidity we've been having in this area.
I'm trying to get these pictures done ASAP as 1. their wedding is in 1.5 months 2. she wants to use pictures for the guest book.
However, this upcoming week doesn't look much better... same heat and humidity.
So... shooting at 7AM is out of the question due to work schedule (he works but she has off as a teacher). Trying to shoot in the evenings really won't be a help as I scoped out the location of the shoot at 8PM and it was still hot and humid.
Any suggestions on dealing with these conditions? They want them done outdoors... so yeah...
Thanks!

What is your issue? Are you worried about your gear or just about the client.
Your gear should not have any issues.. and well if they want the out door shots, they are going to have to deal with the heat.

Hi from S.C. and it's the same way here. Walk outside and in a matter of 10 minutes your clothes are soaked. Humidity is unreal along with the temps for this time of year. So it would be my guess that the clients would be soaked and miserable within minutes. Of course I could be wrong and have been more often than not. lol

I just shot a wedding Saturday in Orlando, Temp 98, heat index at about 108. Ceremony lasted about 45 minutes and I was feeling it well into Sunday. That wore me out.
My only suggestion is have them where cool clothes, bring a towel so wipe sweat off and find some shade. Also bring lots of water.

It's horrible lately here, too. 91, dew point 73, heat index 100 at the moment. I needed to get some candids at a town festival with the kiddie rides and people just don't look so good in that kind of humidity. And for your pre-wedding shots, they really need to look fresh. It's not like the bride-to-be can just towel off much without messing up her makeup and hair. I hate humidity.
This is why I laugh when I see people temporarily transforming their garages into mini-studios. I wish I could do that! But the weather here would make that feasible only a few days per year. I'm sure I couldn't extend my tripod legs in my garage right now without breaking a sweat.

I'm not worried about the gear. It's the comfort level of my clients.
He's a sweater and she admits that she sweats more than most girls. having sweaty pictures isn't the most attractive thing, ya know? :(
