In fact I can't say that I've ever seen a Ross Goose at this lake. Mostly it's just the regular "park" geese that hang around, but this little guy must have lost his way. I'll have to check back in a few weeks and see if he is still here.

Woah, that is the coolest looking bird ever! It's like a cross between a swan and a duck. I love it, thanks for sharing.

RbrtPtikLeoSeny, they are a really cool goose. One of the smaller species. Same coloration as a snow goose but smaller. When they are in a flock of snows they are pretty easy to spot.
