Interesting! Not a great shot, but not bad for the kit lens for sure! I kind of like it in a way. Keep it up!

Nice thing about kit lens is, it lets u get so close to the subject.

The kit lens, despite feeling like light weight plastic junk, does a suprisingly good job. I'm quite well satisfied with it, especially since it only added $50 to the cost of my 20D when I bought it. That's one big black nose! :)

When I get my stable of L lenses I'll think differently I'm sure, but right now I believe the kit lens is greatly under-rated. It does a decent job. Especially for the price.
