Hey do any of you get head aches after shooting for long periods of time outdoors?

I take off my sunglasses so I can see of course and I find that after long periods of time my eyes start to hurt and I get a head ache when its bright out. I was just wondering if you guys have an answer to this or if anyone has the same problem?

I find that the eye that I look through the viewfinder with ends up going out of focus compared to my other eye. Looking around after spending a few minutes with my eye in the viewfinder can be disconcerting for a while while my eye adjusts back to "normal" . It does not give me headaches though.

Maybe try some eye drops if your eyes are getting dried out? I don't know.

I work outdoors and unless it's completely cloudy I have polarized wrap-around sunglasses on. They are an absolute must for me as my eyes seem to be very sensitive to light. When shooting outdoors, I've tried using those glasses cords on my prescription polarized sunglasses so I could easily take them on/off as necessary and it drove me nuts. So now for the most part I just wear my clear glasses and live with the discomfort. A wide brimmed hat (preferably with a dark under brim) does help a bit though.

I do tend to give myself a headache from looking through one eye for the viewfinder for too long.

I shoot with both eyes open, and most of the time through sunglasses. No headaches from my camera for me.

A 70-700 2.8 Dang man you rich it must be one of a kind!:p

I might try shooting with both eyes open see if that helps. I tried shooting with sunglasses but it didn't work for me.

I get this sometimes. I think its dry eyes because I use contact lenses.

What happens to me though is I get those eye-migranes for a while if I shoot with one eye all the time.
