I am also in Texas and looking. Seems like online is the only option. $110 and limited on Amazon. Actually it's Cameta Camera, who recently tried to pull a fast one on me but I will not go in to that. Hopefully Sterlingtek has these soon.

That's Amazon themselves and not one of the other sellers and they appear to be in stock.

Edit: on second look, maybe they're on back order. But still, it's a good price.

I just got an email from Amazon, telling me that my order shipped. Took them about a week since I saw the 5D-II battery in my "gold box". Ended up paying $83 and some change for it.

I am in Corsicana about 50 miles south of Dallas. The only
large camera store in Dallas that I know of is Arlington Camera.
I have not called them yet.

Look at Adorama's website and BH Photo. There prices are generally excellent.
