Pretty good lighting.

Now go edit the images and post the results ;)

I will second Rene's comment. You take good photos and a bit of post processing will only make them better. Sooc is only good for someone on very tight deadline and even then, minor edits only take a few seconds but produce big results.

thanks guys! to be honest, my laptop crashed and i currently don't have it. a friend is trying to recover everything so i may have possibly lost my photoshop and well, i'm too lazy to put lightroom on my desktop. just out of curiosity though, what kind of pp do you recommend?

I do almost all of my processing in Lightroom, so of course I would recommend Lightroom. It's probably best to do your editing in whatever program you feel most comfortable in.

So what does Lightroom do that Photoshop doesn't, and vice versa?
Then what do those two do that Aperture doesn't?

Lightroom and Aperture are Raw converters with added DAM capability. Photoshop is a pixel editor.
Have a look in the Raw, PP & printing section: http://photography-on-the.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=18 The question is answered there more then once ;)

Who are you shooting for? Great pics - were you there on assignment or in the crowd?

I think the pics are great and you are getting screwed if they said that they would pay you.
