These pictures are of Lake Winnebago in Wisconsin, USA. They were taken on December 26. It was a warm, windy day. The ice covering the lake shifted and piled up about ten feet deep along the shore. At sunset, most of the lake was ice covered, but there were also a few patches of open water. I was lucky to have my camera along and got a few pictures of a great sunset.

Let me know what you think of my pics.

Thanks

The ice piling up is something I've never seen before. Very unique. The sunset photos are nice however I personally have a real hard time giving any real critique on sunset photos. They are so breathtaking when actually viewing them but in a photo the awe (for lack of better words) of viewing them just isn't there for me. They are very nice but also so very common.:)

I know what conk means but I think these shots are just stunning

especially
# 1 #2 #5

wonderful colours in the sky and on land,
I love the scene , lovely feel about all
maybe because of that special ice 'happening'

I will not comment on all of these shots -- just the first.

The color is terrific.

The composition -- especially subject and framing is not as strong (that is the trick and takes a lot of thought)

The ligt is OK .. but a dead on shot may not give you your best "electricity".

Framing is weak
