So I had to go to Portland on business and a co-worker took me up to Mt. Hood. I can't believe how long the ski season is at Timberline. Anyhow, we walked around taking shots of the snowboarders in the half pipe and a few of the jumps, which was pretty sweet with the cloud bank below - it's like they were jumping off into the abyss. Anyhow, let me know what you think - these are the first shots like this I've taken.

I cant see 3 or 5 but I think 1 and 3 are awesome man. Great job!

Nice pics. i am headed to timberline next weekend to take some. What were your settings on these? Exposure is the hardest thing to get.

You guys still have better snow than we do and we're nearly half way through winter haha. I'd love to have that much snow to play with. Nice shots, 4 is probably my favourite.

Nice pics. i am headed to timberline next weekend to take some. What were your settings on these? Exposure is the hardest thing to get.

Here are my settings - they stayed the same for the most part. Aperture priority, f/3.2, ISO 100, AI servo, overexposed about 1/2 stop. It was unbelievably bright up there with all the clouds and mist.

I really like all of them, 1 was confusing at first for some reason, but looking at it again I'm diggin it.
