Sorry if this has been discussed in detail before, but I couldn't find anything substantial about it.

I'm experiencing choppy video in changing light conditions. This occurs both on the LCD and the computer. It is very obvious when panning for example from a bright window to a dim interior, with the camera changing ISO.

Does anybody know how to deal with this issue?

My guess is that your shutter is dropping below 30 fps.
Keep it at 30 or higher and you'll be good.
Hope this helps.

Google "choppy video Canon 5D" and you will find that many folks think it has to do with data rate exchange when viewing.

Find it here.
