firmware update for 1DMKII

Another of my dumbie questions. I have installed all of the 1DmkII firmware updates. I am attempting to install the latest V1.2.1 and cannot remember where to copy the file to on my compact flash card. Accessing the card shows the DCIM folder, clicking on that shows the 100EOSID folder where all shots are stored. Should I install the firmware in the 100EOSID folder or in the DCIM folder thus creating a file beside 100EOSID. Please excuse my ignorance.

Put the file right on the root of the card. Not inside a folder.
