My new web site.

I havce been working on a new web site (http://rimbizz.com/?go=web+site) for a while now. It involes images and a flash center peice. It has taken me awhile to do because I'm in college right now...in fact, this is finals week... :) . But yeah, just let me know what you think of it so far.

P.S.- also, I don't have a loading screen done yet for the flash, so it might take a few seconds or so till the flash gets going.

well, this is my last attempt to keep this thread (http://orgsvet.com/?go=thread) visable. sorry if this is conciderd bad. I just wanted to post a picture of the site as it looks so far.

I know there aren;t any photo's up on it yet, that's because I'm still learning flash and things like that. Just woundering what people think of it.

I think it looks pretty cool. Some of your photos on your gallery website will fit in nicely. Can you make the text a bit larger? On my 1280X1024 display it's a bit small to read. Other than that, I like it, wish I knew how to do that!

Very futuristic.

You might want to think about an interim welcome page to indicate to users that the page is loading, the flash piece is about 1.3MB and people on dialup (yes they do still exist) might have to wait for awhile just to see the front page.

Thanks Alfa. With regards to the text, on my resolution 1024x768, the font looked just right to me. I might change it but I feel most people use the 1024x768. then again it wouldn't hurt just to up the scale a little bit so all screens can be happy :) . It's kinda sad, but my brother likes to use 800x600 because that's what he's used to seeing.... it looks horible, almost lIke I can count the pixels on the screen.

Thanks Khiem, I love my futuristic look. I had a lot of fun making it.

I want to have a loading screen, but for some reason I'm to stupid to understand how to make it. Every tutorial I try never works right. So I think I'll be better of if I just learn the code behind flash first.

Yeah keep at it mate, best way to learn is trial and error (as long as you don't repeat errors) :D
