My wonderful wife brought me here on Father's Day for some wine tasting. The place is called Castello di Amorosa.

very cool place. I've been up there a few times and never seen this place. A must visit for sure the next time I am in Napa.

It doesn't matter, if you're a photography enthusiast, this place is enough to satisfy you.

It would be interesting to try some of those wide angle outside shots much lower to the ground, in order to make the walls look higher, and the castle less squat.

Good idea. Sometimes when I see a beautiful place like this, I just lose it and start snapping away like a crazy tourist with a disposable camera. When I go back, I'm sure I will be less impressed, and have my wits about me. Then, I shall take better pics, better angles, lol.

next time, pay attention to the edges of the viewfinder before hitting trigger. #8 has a "caution wet floor" sign, which is too bad.
