Bird with no feathers

I was hunting the great blue heron again when I spotted this bird landing near the river.

No idea what species that is, but I bet it rose a few of the feathered variety for you to shoot. Nice shot.

I wonder if someone took a shot at it with a shotgun, if it would get mad? Sometimes when threatened, birds will turn on you!
