I have no interest in this lense but I know some of you did. The MSRP is 320 British Pounds, around $600 US.

A note of interest, some retailers are already selling this lense for about 400 Euros, which would be $520 US.
So I guess we'll see soon enough what the "real" price will be.

I don't think they do EF-S mounts.. but it is designed for an "APS" sized Camera.. so no go on a 1Ds... "maybe" it'll work on a 1D.

My guess is the street price will be less than £300, which would make it similarly priced to the Canon 50mm 1.4. mmm I wonder where they came up with the price?
Now if it's usably sharp under f2, with the HSM motor, that makes it a worthwhile lens for low light shooting with the 20d.:D
