I love this site but I have a few questions. Is there a forum out there that advanced amateurs / pros use to post pictures and get critique. Its not that I dont like the help here its just that I like to see pictures picked apart. It helps me learn. The help on here is usually very basic advice. I want to lean about what type of lighting flatter certain models faces etc.
Another question I have if someone knows (instead of making another thread) is where do you go to school or learn advanced retouching etc. How do they know the perfect anatomy of a face and model the photograph off of that. I may be confusing everyone but if you understand please let me know. Thank you in advance.

Why not post your photos in the Critique Corner (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=12)?

If you really want to stretch your creativity, get humbled on a regular basis, improve immensly and also get to see some amazing work .. join a flesh and blood photography club.
No other single thing has improved my efforts than being allowed to join the group to which I belong .. Desert Light Photography Group LINK (http://www.pbase.com/photobart/desert_light_themes)
One suggestion: Attend a meeting as a guest before you join so you can get a feel for the skill level, ages and general makeup of the club. Some are very structured (every month is a competition) while others are very loosely run (just bring something to show .. or not) Find one that suits your needs...

Thanks for the suggestion! The only one I know of around me is just strobist meet ups. I will look into it for this summer though. After that I will be getting a lot of help at Antonelli Institute :D
